Qala is built on WordPress and therefore, the majority of the user experience is common to all other WordPress websites.
The first thing you will see when you log in is the Admin Panel. Here you will find all the tools you need such as ‘posts’, ‘pages’, ‘media’, ‘users’, and so on.
We will go through the most crucial things to get you started.
Note: Admin panels may look different depending on the plugins you use, and some widgets may not appear on the dashboard.
Dashboard
The WordPress Admin Panel provides a navigation menu that includes menu options such as Posts, Media Library, Pages, Comments, Appearance Options, Plugins, Users, Tools, and Settings on the left side.

Admin Panel
The Admin Panel contains various types of widgets that can be displayed or hidden on certain screens. It includes checkboxes to show or hide screen options and allows us to customise sections on the admin screen.

Welcome
It includes the ‘Customise your website’ button that allows customisation of your WordPress theme. The middle column contains some of the useful links such as creating a blog post, creating a page, and viewing the front end of your website.
The last column includes links to widgets, menus, comment-related settings, and even a link to the ‘First Steps with WordPress’ page in the WordPress Codex (the central WordPress documentation).

Quick Draft
Quick Draft is a mini post editor that allows you to write, save, and publish a post from the admin overview. It includes the title for the draft, some notes about the draft, and the ability to save it as a draft.
WordPress Events and News
The WordPress News widget displays the latest news such as the latest software version, updates, alerts, software news, etc. from the official WordPress blog.
Activity
The Activity widget includes the latest comments on your blog, recent posts, and recently published posts. It allows you to approve, disapprove, reply, edit, or delete a comment. It also lets you move a comment to spam
Simple History
This provides an overview of your blog’s posts, the number of published posts and pages, and the number of comments. Clicking on these links will take you to their respective screens. It displays the current version of running WordPress along with the current theme on the website.
