Access to your Qala website

Environments

All Qala-sites have three environments (URLs you can access) with different purposes. Your customers will only ever be able to access the production site.

Usable environments

In general you will only be making content changes in the production environment and use the other ones for testing and to approve the work that Angry Creative is doing.

Access

To access non-public environments you will need a login which lets you authenticate to the Synotio Virtual Private Network (VPN). The VPN protects your test and staging environments from the public and stops peopl from ordering from
a staging location or being able to view incomplete development work.

If you need help accessing your environments, please create a ticket or contact your Client Success Manager (CSM)

Logging in

WP Admin

To log in to your website you go to your URL and add /wp-admin at the end of it.

For example: your-url.com/wp-admin
(or your-url.com.test.synot.io/wp-admin for your test website, etc)

This should load a login page where you can login using your username and password.

A successful login will redirect you to the Content Management System. This space is also known as ‘CMS’, ‘WP Admin’, ‘Back office’, ‘Dashboard’ or ‘The Admin panel’.

If you don’t see the login page, check that the URL is correct.

Problem with login in?

If you login fails you can try:

  • Double checking that your username is correct (you can also login using your email address)
  • Reset your password (use the link “forgot password” on the login screen)
  • As a last resort you can open a support-ticket or contact your CSM.
