Menus

You will most likely be using the tab “Menu” to add new content or reorganize the menu structure. It’s under this tab where you can administer your menu and what is shown in it on your website.

First and foremost you have to decide what menu you want to edit.

Header – ‘main menu’ the menu at the top of the page

Footer – The menu at the bottom of the page

The menu can be edited by draging and dropping the objects you want in the desired order. You can drag objects slightly to the left or right to create submenus (learn more here).

Add items

You can add different link types in your menu, these are devided between boxes to the left of the menu you are currently editing.

Adding pages in your menu

1. Find the box with the title ‘Pages’

  • In this box you check Select All to get a list of all the published pages on your website.
  • Choose the pages you want to add by clicking the checkboxas next to each page title.
  • Click the button that says Add to Menu at the bottom of the box to add your choices to the menu you created in the previous step.

Removing pages in your menu

  • Find the menu item that you want to remove in the menu edit window
  • Click the arrow icon in the upper right corner of the menu item/box to expand it.
  • Click on the link that says Remove. The menu item will instantly be removed from the menu.
  • Klick on the button Save Menu to save your changes
